The Inclusive Recruitment short course is designed to help you build a flexible and supportive hiring process to attract and secure talent from a variety of backgrounds while respecting the needs of individuals.

- Describe four main areas for consideration when creating an inclusive recruitment process
- Explain the term 'special measures' and how it relates to lawful discrimination in the area of recruitment
- Summarise the procedure to follow if intending to recruit from a specific cohort who may be protected under anti-discrimination legislation.
Upon completion of the second, trainees will learn to:
- Describe what is meant by the 'inherent requirements' of a job role
- Give three examples of how unconscious bias can be reduced or prevented in the recruitment process
- Outline four best-practice tips for writing a job advertisement
- List several measures that can be put in place to make the candidate assessment process as inclusive and fair as possible.
